CHEDRA exit meeting with District officials.

A team from Community Health Empowerment Development and Relief Agency (CHEDRA) held an official exit meeting with officials at the District headquarters. 

 

CHEDRA was funded by Makerere University Water Reed project (MUWRP) which heavily relied on foreign funding and it is among the institutions affected by the aid frozen by the U.S. President Donald Trump's administration.

 

CHEDRA has been operating in kayunga town council, Nazigo, busaana and kangulumila subcounties

 

DCAO addressing stakeholders during an inception meeting with Well Roots Foundation.

Officials from the Ministry of Water and Environment held a stakeholders engagement meeting at the District Headquarters.

 

MoWE received funding from UK export finance and constructed 3 solar powered water supply irrigation system at Namulanda in kayunga Subcounty Nsiima kibati in Nazigo Subcounty and Misanga B in Bbaale Subcounty with Nexus green contracted to provide agronomy services to farmers.

 

The engagement was focused to evaluate the impact of the projects to farmers , identify challenges and provide solutions 

 

Kayunga District staff celebrated a wedding anniversary

Kayunga District staff celebrated a wedding anniversary from their colleague the Chief Finance Officer who gifted them with cake as a token of appreciation for the support in his next journey.

 

They were overwhelmed with joy when the CAO handed over the cake to them.

 

This was after the senior management meeting.

 

The CAO' s applouded staff for their contribution and attendance.

 

The staff shared the sumptuous meal amongst themselves with joy and happiness.
