The RDC and District Speaker held a meeting with an Non Governmental Organisation called Initiative For Social and Economic Development in the District Health Boardroom.
The aim of the organisation is ensuring full recognition, accountability and realization of social and Economic rights.
The NGO has highlighted its achievements key among the many are: good working relationship with the District.
Outreach services to the community and construction of infrastructure in the District.
Kayunga District top leadership conducted an outreach site visit to Kawomya HC3.
The purpose of the site visit was to monitor progress on the construction of a staff House.
The Team comprised of the LCV, RDC, CAO and technical staff.
The CAO briefed the team about the phased process for this particular project and emphasised to the team about the second phase under which the construction is underway.
The CAO further instructed the Engineer to write a warning letter to the contractor for the delay in execution of the contract.
The District Chairperson LCV and Technical staff headed by the Chief Administrative officer held a site meeting at Bukamba HC3.
The site inspection was a result of the construction of a twin staff House.
The team comprised of the RDC, DHO.
The CAO appreciated the ongoing construction for the Twin staff House and further warned on delayed works which has tainted the image of the District. Some contractors drag to finish on time and end up rolling works in the next financial year which is irregular.
