Kayunga District youths were overwhelmed with joy after Hajjat Namyalo Hadijja the chief Muzukullu from the Office of the National Chairman NRM empowered youths with tools for wealth and job creation.
This function took place at Nakyesa playground in Kayunga subcounty.
In attendance were RDC, DRDC, DISO, Chairman NRM, women council, Technical staff, youths, delegates from Kakira sugar works.
Mwanje Shafik the Chairperson NRM Bukomansimbi encouraged youths to do skilling instead of complaining about unemployment.
Kayunga district convened a budget conference at the district headquarters. The budget theme for FY 2024/2025 was "full monetization of Uganda’s economy through commercial agriculture, industrialization, expanding and broadening service, digital transformation and market access".
in attendance were area members of parliament from Bbaale and Ntenjeru North, RDC, DISO, district councilors, chairperson LCV , technical staff, NGOS and CBO representatives etc.
A team from MUCOBADI held an entry meeting with Officials at the District headquarters.
MUCOBADI is a Ugandan NGO founded in 2000 whose focus is supporting people living with HIV.
It operates in over 36 Districts including Kayunga.
It implements USAID/ICARE facilities which MUWRP was implementor
The project cost is 23,391,681 USD.
The purpose of the meeting was to introduce MUCOBADI to the District Technical team. Its roles include improving care and resilience for children and youth in East and Central Uganda.
