Star fish team during the inception meeting at the district headquarters.

A team from star fish foundation held an inception meeting with stake holders and technical team at the district headquarters.

Star fish is an NGO that has been running a clinic and rehabilitation center in Namusaala, Busaana subcounty.

Basing on its mission of developing and empowering children, youths and women holistically, it has been extending services to children with disability in Namusaala, busaana subcounty.

Its source of fund is donations from UK churches and individual donations.

Their services include

Hon. Nsanja and district leaders at a commissioning ceremony

Kayunga district leaders commissioned project worth 155 million shillings in a bid to improve service delivery.

Kayunga district leader led by Hon members of parliament mr Nsanja Patrick, RDC and his deputy, deputy DISO, CAO, LCV, District councilors, technical staff and stake holders started with a commissioning of a twin staff house in bukamba HCIII Nazigo subcounty valued at a cost of 51 million shillings which was constructed by vertex construction services LTD.

Launch of a home improvement campaign

The RDC together with an implementing partner (water for people) and a team of health inspectors launched a home improvement campaign under the district hygiene and sanitation transitional grant (DHSCG) in kabaku village Bbaale subcounty.

The principle health inspector said the campaign was for an open defecation free community.

Community was cautioned about sinking toilets, boiling drinking water, scrubbing jerrycans and etc.

The ADHO EH promised to punish family heads with homes without toilets.
