The RDC Kayunga District has officially launched the distribution of 157 tablets to PDM implementing team at the District headquarters.
The Ministry of ICT and National Guidance recently handed over 60247 tablets to the Ministry of Local Government to enhance the performance, monitoring and supervision of PDM programs.
The RDC applauded the PDM implemention team for working hard in implementing the NRM manifesto.
She emphasized safety of the tablets and called for Transperancy and right selection of beneficiaries.
Kayunga District leadership and Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited held an engagement meeting at Isimba Hydro Power Point in Busaana Subcounty kayunga District.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss matters on Royalties, Electricity Distribution, Status of Roads and Corporate Social Responsibilities.
The Managing Director highlighted that the plant is sorrounded by 3 Districts of Jinja , Kamuli and kayunga taking the biggest coverage of 57%.
Arise Integrated Development Efforts (AIDE) held a dialogue meeting with stakeholders at the District headquarters.
AIDE is a civil society organization with a vision of having a society in which women and vulnerable children are fully empowered, innovative and self dependant.
As part of fulfilling it's vision, it is implementing a project "Women in land governance" in Subcounties of kayunga, Busaana, Bbaale, kayonza and kangulumila.
The dialogue aimed at building women capacity in land governance , identified challenges and finding possible solutions.
