Kayunga District Council Approves 54.5 Billion Budget for FY 2025/2026.

Kayunga District Council has officially approved the 2025/2026 FY budget estimates amounting to UGX 54,552,563,000. during a council session at the District Headquarters. 

Council has also approved the following documents through which the budget for FY 2025/2026 is going to be implemented;

1. Local Revenue Enhancement Plan.

2. Procurement Plan

3. Annual Work Plan.

The District Council resolved that the 150million budgeted for the canteen be relocated to construction of pit latrines in Schools under the Education Department.

Council further resolved to spend the 93 million on procurement of council furniture and Public address system only.

The District Council has approved area land committee for Busaana Subcounty.

This took place in the presence of the RDC and Asst RDC , CAO, DCAO, technical Staff for upper and lower local Government.
